Rainbowstrings

Under the night sky we would run.

Under the moon and stars we would laugh.

I don’t care if tomorrow never comes.

I don’t care if the sun won’t shine again.

I just want this moment not to end.

If I can I’ll stop the time for ticking.

I can’t stop the tears from falling.

I can’t stop my heart from beating.

I want the sound of laughter to keep on.

I want the smiles to last long.

After the sun goes down.

While everyone is fast asleep.

I lie awake in my bed

Thinking about the days to come,

and the days that have passed me by.

Will tomorrow be as happy today?

Will tomorrow be as sorrowful as yesterday?
